However, the principal enhancement which coincides with the Version 6 Release is the introduction of the new MicroStream-PCI expansion card. PCI has developed into the predominant bus standard in the Personal Computer arena and offers many improvements over the older ISA bus, including increased data transfer rates and, of course, Plug and Play. The MicroStream-PCI card is PCI 2.1 compliant and will ease installations and setup issues, especially in PCs already fitted with additional devices.
